The Elk River Realty Team

Mike Woolverton My real estate career began when I switched my major to Real Estate and Construction Management. The University of Denver awarded my MSBA degree in 1974, I passed my Colorado brokers license exam, and started selling residential and commercial property in Denver. Now, 35 years into it, I still look forward to every day. I fell for Steamboat Springs on my first visit in 1972. Many weekend ski trip visits later, I followed my heart here in 1988, and began selling resort properties, remote ranches, and homes in "old town." After working seven years in a large firm, I started Elk River Realty in 1995 with the philosophy of small-as-better. The mission is simple: enthusiasm and consistent expert services to a special clientele. Mike Woolverton

Craig Falwell As a fourth-generation real estate developer/owner, the complexities and opportunities of the world of real estate are native to me. My wife, Sally, and I moved to Steamboat in 2006 for the awesome quality of life and to invest ourselves in this unique marketplace and vibrant community. We are involved in numerous single-family, multi-family, commercial and land development projects. Prior to Steamboat, I worked in development and finance for eight years, leading fund raising efforts and overseeing communications, media and technology projects at a Virginia based non-profit organization.

My family has started numerous successful ventures in central Virginia, with several businesses dating back to the early 1900's still in operation. I was graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BBA, and received my MBA from Regent University. Both degrees focused on management, organizational leadership and operational efficiency.

The Yampa Valley affords many great real estate opportunities along with a host of recreational amenities unmatched in Colorado. Living and playing here is the way to go, especially with Steamboat being one of the friendliest "family" towns I've ever been to!
